Speaking from my experience with the 2.0 build, running a vehicle requires most of your SP going towards that vehicle(same as any class), i.e. the HAV. Meaning, that was my primary class, I had no infantry fittings worth running because I couldn't...

I have to agree with the muzzle flash thing though, pretty much all modern combat firearms come with flash suppressors for a reason, there is no reason to think that they wouldn't use something similar in the future.

When I'm in the middle of a tank on tank or tank on AV soldier battle it's hard to keep an eye on my shields at the same time. An obvious flashing indicator or a noticeable warning sound that my shields are low would be really helpful.
